The University College consisted of the traditional departments of letters, arts, and sciences. The name of the University College was changed to the College of Arts and Science in 1957. During the period covered by these records, Sterling M. McMurrin was dean of University College and later of the College of Letters and Science. This collection contains two folders of minutes ranging from 1956 to 1961.
